October seems like the month for good animes, so I thought I should at least update my blog on two of the animes I’ll be focusing on from october onwards.

1. Tales of the Abyss
The famous PS2 game, Tales of the Abyss, that made its transition from Console Game to Anime is finally here! To everyone out there, if you loved the game, you must definately watch the anime as it follows closely to the game itself.

Total Estimated Episodes: 42-51eps

2. ToraDora!
An adaption of the Novel counterpart, ToraDora (or Tiger x Dragon!) is one of the few light novels that captured my attention. But eitherway, if you have some spare time on your hands, I’d suggest picking up the novel and have a go at it.

Total Estimated Episodes: 21-26

Thats pretty much about it for now, I’ll post more next week when I have more time to capture some screencaps.

National Service, week 9. “Field Camp!” July 25, 2008

Field camp is finally OVER! Hip hip horray~! Anyway, next up is Sitest, which is something else. And guess what? I’ll be marching 12km next week, monday. With FBO (Full Battle Order, 10-15kg worth of load) that is.

Well, here’s the post of the week I suppose… (I still have a report to write on the field camp btw) so even if I wanted to write more about the days of field camp, I don’t think I should post them here. Its better that singaporeans experience this for themselves, since Field Camp is an “flag event” where it can bring people together closer as brothers or rip them apart as if they’re enemies.

To my friends going into BMT, take care of yourselves in field camp. Especially if you don’t want to get Foot Rot or Ring Worms.

Well, I’m thinking of getting VF-25 (FYI, I’ve followed Macross, Gundam and Saint Seiya for sometime now. But I tend to focus more on Gundam then followed by Macross) soonish, since its from bandai and all, customization space should be top notch or so. I may get myself a VF-0A/S and VF-1A/S/J from Yamato in the future for collection purpose. Especially VF-0A/S.

But, my Impulse is coming, so it Musha. So, it’ll definately be get busy after BMT. Not to mention I’d just got Astraea. (=_=!!!) So much temptations, but I must at least save abit of my money up. Just in case.

Sorry about the rushed post, but I guess I’ll have to elaborate abit more on the old IWSP Strike Freedom design. The current progress on the design of the backpack is halted and may or may not picked back up, afterall, I only come back home once in a week for the next 12 weeks (field camp’s saturday/sunday week’s excluded). Just hope I don’t do anything stupid to get confined, which brings about an issue, my marching sucks big time so I guess I’ve got to improve on that (^^;;)

As for the Physical Training. Its the usual who-ha, training, training and more training. Haha. But I got to admit its fun, unlike what most people say. You’d get to meet with all kinds of people, both irrational and rational ones. Plus, you may even get to meet up old friends and juniors. My only complaint is, why couldn’t I get a mainland camp site? It’ll be much easier to go on home during weekends… *Sighs*… Thats life I suppose. Be back next week… I think.

Well, at the end of the Phase-Impulse video we’d saw this screen caps showing us the next what’s MG Gundam thats coming in the Seed Universe. Was hoping more for Exia, but the screencaps hints out greatly on Infinite Justice, but eitherway, its finally time. Heh.

Graduation… and more. May 21, 2008

Heh, congrats to all my friends on Graduation! Class of 2008!

But still, nothing beats the feeling of graduation (and the feeling of spending almost 20-30 bucks on dinner granting me a heartache), and I might have to admit that having seniority over juniors might be fun, it can also tire one out quite fast. Perhaps it might be due to their attitude, highly self-centered, arrogant and absolutely nonsensical to begin with. As a matter of fact, I’ll doubt anyone will be tolerant with peers saying arrogant or nonsensical stuff.

This is Singapore, and I’ve never really considered myself as a Singaporean to begin with. So why bother? I’ve went ahead and applied for a place in Manhattan Institute of Technology, so it means I’ll most likely move to the US after two to three years for further studies then after that, my friends reading this post, you’ll know where to find me. Before I end this post, I’d hope to point out a few things about what I can’t really compromise;

Arrogance
Racism
Superiority Complex
“Extremely” Self-Centered

In short, don’t be an arse. The reason why I’m posting this stuff is due to the issue that attachment student I knew started on the bad puns regarding Malays and Indians back two months ago, and upon further interaction, I discovered he could Extremely Self-Centered, and had Superiority Complex and is extremely Arrogant. All to the point where I can’t compromise (a little bit of each is fine, but if it hits the mark, I doubt I’ll compromise for long). And aside from that, I can ask my future friends to read this post here instead of spending time elaborating these points to each and everyone of them.

First up! Quiz! Saw this on Nasution’s website (beakspyder.wordpress.com) and decided to take the test

Your Seduction Style: Sweet Talker

Your seduction technique can be summed up with “charm”
You know that if you have the chance to talk to someone…
Well, you won’t be talking for long! ;-)

You’re great at telling potential lovers what they want to hear.
Partially, because you’re a great reflective listener and good at complementing.
The other part of your formula? Focusing your conversation completely on the other person.

Your “sweet talking” ways have taken you far in romance – and in life.
You can finess your way through any difficult situation, with a smile on your face.
Speeding tickets, job interviews… bring it on! You truly live a *charmed life*

What Kind of Seducer Are You?

Hmm, the sweet talker? I don’t really seem like one though.

Next up!

Soul Eater - ソウルイーター
Soul Eater - ソウルイーター

A relatively nice anime, been watching it a month or so now. Here’s a brief summary of it;

Soul Eater primarily revolves around students known as meisters/shokunin at the Shinigami Buki Shokunin Senmon Gakko, or Shibusen for short, located in Death City.

The school is run by Shinigami, the God of Death himself, as a training facility for weapons created by shinigami and the human wielders of those weapons, the meisters. Each meister has at least one demon weapon companion which has both a weapon and human form.

Shinigami created the school as an organization that enforces peace in order to prevent the rebirth of the “Kishin”, evil demon gods that nearly destroyed everything by plunging the world into chaos. Basically, when a human soul strays too far from the path of humans (Their soul becomes something known as Kishin no Tamago), tend to have a high risk of becoming Kishin. Thus those whose soul has been transformed into Kishin no Tamago are constantly being hunted down by the students trained at Shibusen.

The ultimate goal of the students with their weapons is to have their weapons defeat and eat the souls of ninety-nine evil human souls and one witch’s soul which will dramatically increase the power of the given weapon and thus be capable of being used by shinigami. In order to ensure this is done in a timely manner, all students and weapons attend classes regularly and are given homework or supplementary lessons to further their training.

Heck, just watch it. Its one heckava nice anime I suppose. Tomorrow or so I’ll post another introduction on another anime or two; Code Geass R2 and Macross Frontier.
P.S 僕はXlinkkai使えでモンスターハンターポータベル2ndGをしますよ(Kai ID:Elozt)。そして、よろしくお願いします。

Heck, what am I doing now you might ask?

I have impulse coming next month (when I’m in army maties), musha coming the month after and still waiting for them to release DX(GUNDAM X DESERVES SOME LOVE TOO!). Anyway, Unicorn is finally… COMPLETED! Just that I need to find my camera *coughs*, now, spray painting wouldn’t be much of a pain wouldn’t it?

Also, I’ve just gotten my hands on…

P3 Fes boxart
Aegis's Sister.

So, yeah I’m playing the game everyday after I get home, hoping to complete the journey and the answer senario *again* (I’ve played thru this game 7 times over now, TotA was highier @ 17 times). Anyway, if you have a ps2 and love RPGs with a mix of Dating and Real life simulation should get this, should keep you busy for the next 80~150 hours or just 70 hours if you’re a real rusher like me.
